What is Ray Tracing in PS5?
Ray tracing is a powerful rendering technique that plays a major part in creating incredibly realistic lighting effects to video games. It essentially casts out and calculates linear rays of lighting between player's eye and various light sources present in game. This is rendered in real-time as rays bounce off different surfaces that it hits.
