previous versions of iOS did t allow users to customize home screens and widgets were always stuck to Today view on left side of main screen. Starting w, it's possible to modify home screen and change se widgets just like on Android. re is also a Widget Library available to see all list of possible widgets a user has (for apps user has installed). How to Use Widgets in iPadOS 14: Here's an iPadOS 14 Widget Guide
- Open settings by pressing on grey gear icon, n go to "Home screen & dock" in app icons section.
- Checkmark "More" option n turn on "Keep today view on home screen" option.
- Get back to your home screen and go into landscape view on your iPad. w you will see a Today View on left side of screen and app icons will be at right.
- Today view widgets will only appear on your home screen when you are in landscape mode. Switching to portrait mode will make this Today view to disappear. w to add widgets to this Today view, swipe urds till you get an option to Edit, n press on Edit.

- Once you press edit, icons will start will wiggle and w you can start adding widgets to it by pressing on + button in upper left corner of display.
- w a selection panel will show up at right side of screen for selecting your widgets. Browse through all available widgets and once you are done selecting, tap, hold and drag it to screen where you want to place it.
- Once finished, press on "Done" at upper right corner of display. w your Home screen will be rmal again and widgets will be placed where you had set m to be.
