As much as techlogy industry is one of most sought after and profitable industries today, it is plagued by bias. However, some women have me it to top leership and are counted among world’s richest.  According to Forbes rankings first woman billionaire in tech, surprisingly, doesn't even list in top 10 or top 20 in general list.

At number 54 on world billionaires list, Laurene Powell Jobs is wealthiest woman in tech with a cool USD 18.5 billion net worth.

Laurene has USD 20 billion from stakes in Apple and Disney that she inherited from her late husband and Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. Although a billionaire from inheritance, Laurene put her fortune to work through a for-profit social impact firm, Emerson Collective, founded in 2004.
