The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro which has just been launched has a starting price of INR 13999 (4 GB variant). Now, the phone’s four cameras (2 front + 2 rear) is a USP; however, apart from its key technical specifications, the pricing could also be a factor for the device's healthy competition amongst similar premium mid-rangers in the Indian market.
Hence, it becomes imminent that the other likely competitors of the smartphone in the Indian market are listed. In case you are planning on purchasing a mid-range outside of Xiaomi, here a few phones which could give the Redmi Note 6 Pro a run for its money:

Nokia 6.1 Plus: The Nokia 6.1 Plus, released in July 2018, is currently available for purchase at INR 16000. Like the Redmi Note 6 Pro, Nokia’s 6.1 Plus also incorporates a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC that supports Qualcomm Fast Charging 4 technology to offer rapid charging of the battery.
USP of Nokia 6.1 Plus is its dual rear cameras viz a 16MP and 5MP snapper, along with the 16 MP front camera. The dual rear cameras also offer dual LED flash. The smartphone comes with a 5.8 inch full HD display, and a 3060 mAh fixed Lithium-Ion battery.
Price-wise, the Nokia 6.1 Plus is a competitor to the Redmi Note 6 Pro. Even when the key technical specifications are taken into consideration, these almost match up that of the Redmi Note 6 Pro; but for the display size. Without this consideration, we could witness a battle of a former market leader vs current market leader in India.
Motorola One Power: Motorola’s One Power smartphone has a price tag of INR 16000 online; USP of this smartphone is its eligibility to receive Android 9.0 (Oreo) as an OS update which could be used in tandem with the premium experience offered by the handset.
There are 3 cameras (2 rear plus one front snapper), and the handset features a comparatively large 6.2-inch display. It is powered by a fixed 5000 mAh Lithium-Ion battery. With a Snapdragon 636 SoC, rapid charging is also supported.
Oppo F7: The Oppo F7 is available for approximately INR 20000 in India. Like the others in this list, the handset does not feature triple cameras; instead comes with a 16 MP rear and 25 MP front snapper. The display size offered here is 6.23-inches. Oppo 47 is powered by a 3040 mAh battery.
The Oppo F7 is seemingly targeted at amateur photographers preferring to shoot images of nature (along with self) in less than normal lighting conditions. The phone is driven by Android 8.1 (Oreo) operating system.
