5G At MWC 2019: Huawei’s Smartphone Set For Launch At Event Could Be More Than Just 5G

The Mobile World Congress 2019 (MWC 2019) that has a dedicated 5G summit, now has seemingly added the latest entrant to the 5G launch scheme of things in the form of a Huawei smartphone. Here, remember that Huawei had for long been hugely rumoured to unveil a 5G compatible phone at the premier consumer technology event.
Now, as per a new Huawei teaser, on Twitter, it is evident that there would be a 5G compatible handset showcased. This official teaser comes with the tagline “Connecting The Future” and gauging the teaser in depth gives off an impression that the smartphone to be showcased at the event could offer much more.

In this regard, Huawei loyalists have been expecting a foldable smartphone from the company. Hence, the smartphone that Huawei has teased recently could be both 5G-compatible as well as foldable; which could make it a potentially first-for. At this juncture, it is worth noting that Samsung also showcased the Galaxy Fold that comes with foldable displays, but this device is only LTE-compatible (in addition to existing technology).
