After Realme Sold 40 Lakh Units of Realme U1 at it's First Sale, Purported Realme 3 Could Surface Officially

Realme 3 may go official, and this is not exaggeration considering the fact that Realm's sales have said be in excess of 40 lakh units in a span of just over 7 months.

Realme, which is an Opo sub-brand could be on a smartphone launching spree over the course of 2019. This Is because the company recently stated that it managed to sell a staggering 40 lakh units in a span of just over 7 months from the time of its launch in India.

Hence, it should not be an exaggeration to state that there could be more premium mid-range smartphones from Realme custom-made for the Indian context. Also, Realme recently made available the U1 smartphone priced at Rs 19999 on the official eStore. This was part of the Realme Yo Days. Also, this opening up of sale indicated the first sale for the Realme U1.

Now,  with product launches as focal point, it should not be an exaggeration to state that there could be next-gen iterations of popular smartphones also as a token of appreciation to buyers in the country. In this regard, rumour mills are also rife about a purported Realme 3 officially coming to the fore in the near future. Here, it is worth noting that the Realme 3 has been highly rumoured an expected by loyalists of the company ever since the Realme 2 was released and seemingly stuck the right chords amongst budget mid-range smartphone buyers.

Here, the Realme 2 is priced at an affordable Rs 7499 which forms one of the USP’s of the phone. The Realme 3 once official could also have an affordable price tag; potentially continuing the legacy of affordable Realme handsets.

At this juncture, the Indian smartphone market - shipments have been dominated by Chinese brands such as Xiaomi, and OnePlus. Also, of late, there has been an undoubted flux of Chinese smartphone names into India - a multitude of which have adapted the Indian government’s “Make in India” initiative.

With Realme 3 rumoured, the purported handset could very well give the budget premium smartphones segment in India a boost; which is now the need of the hour.
