Android can now be installed on an iPhone 7, although it comes with limitations

A cybersecurity startup company 'Corellium' has designed a software which allows iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus users to use the Android OS on their phones.

Around ten years ago, David Wang h discovered a way of using Android operating system on an iPhone 3G device. w, David and his team at cybersecurity startup 'Corellium' are pulling same trick again as part of ir project called Project Sandcastle. ir project is titled Project Sandcastle as team has stated on ir website that sandcastles provide an opportunity to create something new from limitless bounds of one's imagination.

David and his colleagues have released a hack which will allow Apple users to install an Android OS on ir iPhone 7 device.

Android on iPhone comes with its limitations

As of w, re is a limited version of Project Sandcastle for downlo and it is only compatible with Apple iPhone 7 and 7+. ditionally, software does t support phone's audio output, Bluetooth, camera, and cellular modem. Moreover, software only has a re-only access to phone’s system stor, and it won’t allow you to install any application from Google Play. However, for those who are still keen to use an Android OS on ir iPhones despite its limitations, Project Sandcastle is available on company’s official website.

Apple h sued Corellium for breaching ir copyright laws

As reported by a reputable publication earlier, Apple h sued Corellium in 2019 and accused company of breaching ir copyright laws as y created a software version of an iPhone for security and testing purposes. However, Corellium later criticised Apple on its website.

Corellium released a statement saying that iPhone restricts its users to operate inside a sandbox. It furr ded that once a user buys an iPhone device, y also own iPhone hardware and that Android for iPhone gives m freedom to run a different OS on that hardware.
