Android Q Developer Preview Early Access Now Available For OnePlus 6T And OnePlus 6, OnePlus 7 Also In Line: How To Install

You can now experience Android Q Developer Preview within your OnePlus 6T and OnePlus 6 smartphones.

Google’s Android Q which was one of the key eyeball grabbers at the recent Google IO Conference is now set to land on your OnePlus 6T and OnePlus 6 smartphones; seemingly much before everybody else.  Not only OnePlus 6T and OnePlus 6, the OnePlus 7 is also in line to be seeded Android Q Developer Preview. 

Now if you are a user of the OnePlus 6T or OnePlus 6, you can check out Android Q Developer Preview early access within your smartphones. You could flash the ROM and check out Android Q Developer preview edition.

Before you flash the Android Q Developer Preview ROM, remember that you should possess sound technical knowledge with respect to rooting and flashing ROMS; in general, familiarity with developer options within your smartphones is a pre-requisite. Republic World will not be held responsible for any damage to the device – during, and before, and after installation of the Android Q ROM.  

Step 1: Download the custom ROM upgrade zip package. 
Step 2: Copy this ROM package to the storage within your OnePlus 6T/OnePlus 6 internal storage

Step 3: Then, navigate to Settings > System > System Updates > Select the top right icon > Local Upgrade > Then select the appropriate installation package > Then, upgrade > System upgrade completed to 100%. 

Step 4: Post completion of the update, select Restart. 

Step 5: After Step 4, Your OnePlus 6T/OnePlus 6 handsets would boot into recovery mode, it should reboot again, do not panic 

Step 6: Step 5 indicates completion of the update installation – SUCCESS!.
