Apple will launch the iPhone 11 on September 10

It’s official. Apple will launch its next batch of iPhones, aka iPhone 11 lineup, on September 10. Apple is w sending out invites to media, for an “Apple Special Event” scheduled for September 10 at iconic Steve Jobs ater in Cuperti, California where it will launch next iPhone(s). Although invite doesn’t explicitly mention what’s in store, we all kw what Apple’s special events in September have in store. As is customary, invite drops subtle hints about what to expect – this year Apple is hyping invation and a burst of colour. What all that means is for you to guess.

Just like last year, Apple is expected to launch three new iPhones, replacing iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. Rumor has it that Apple may call m iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Pro variants are also said to support Apple Pencil, a first for any iPhone.

iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will reportedly be powered by Apple’s new A13 chip. All three new models will reportedly have same screen size and resolution as outgoing models – with iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max successors retaining OLED panels, while iPhone XR successor will still pack LCD. Apple may be looking to change haptics as well this time round with a new taptic engine. Although exact functionality of new taptic engine is unkwn, chances are it would bring some changes to Apple’s haptic touch.

front-facing camera is also said to be getting an update on iPhone 11 with ability to support slow-motion video recording at 120fps.

next iPhone is also said to stick with Lightning for charging, data syncing and audio out, and t USB -C although rumor has it that Apple may be looking to bring a reverse wireless charging feature – taking a p from Samsung’s book – so users will be able to charge supported devices like AirPods through it.  

Apple is also reportedly working on a slew of Mac laptops (including a new 16-inch MacBook Pro) and new iPs (including a successor to flagship iP Pro) but if history is anything to go by, Cuperti major may t launch m alongside iPhone 11.
