Indian experts have reportedly been warned against Huawei. This warning includes apparent suggestions to ban the high-speed telecommunication equipments by the Chinese smartphone brand in the country. It also seems that Australian government authorities have passed on these suggestions to their Indian counterparts in New Delhi. At this point in time, Huawei’s high-speed telecommunication equipments/material have been banned in Australia over “security” grounds.

Now, as per Reuters, which mentions the above development having been reported by the Australian press, officials from the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) provided information to authorities in India when a delegation of the former visited India over the last week. There are also reports about India’s keenness on knowing the ban of Huawei in Australia. The Australian delegates are even said to have briefed about the security threats and the reasons behind the ban of Huawei's equipment from being used in 5G networks across Australia. At this point in time, there have been no confirmations from either the ASD or other authorized representatives. Reuters also adds that it was even yet to receive responses from Huawei as well.

In related news, Huawei has participated in the ongoing IFA 2019 conference where the company has showcased a smart home router called the Q2 Pro. This router could be used to enhance network connectivity across homes (individual). Even remote unconnected areas could be brought under the network connectivity ambit under favourable conditions. USP of this hardware is its dual-band auto-selection feature that automatically connects users to hotspot and the strongest signal frequency bands whilst optimizing Wi-fi channels to eliminate interference caused via signal deviations. Its under-the-hood Automatic network port identification lets users clearly distinguish between WAN and LAN ports.
