BSNL 5GB broadband now free to test, under new scheme

This comes after the government-led telco added extra validity of 90 days to its annual Rs 1699 scheme which was earlier valid for 365 days. Check out now.

BSNL, which is w seemingly on way to recovery, has w anunced that its 5GB broband plan could be availed for extra cost. This means that plan is w free to check out. This comes after government-led telco ded extra validity of 90 days to its annual Rs 1699 scheme which was earlier valid for 365 days.

In related news, BSNL has me Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) live under revised policy as anunced by central government. This is applicable to all permanent employees. telco is said to be expecting nearly 80000 employees to avail benefits of this VRS scheme.  

Also, merger of MTNL with BSNL has resulted in latter offering free calls in regions where former was fledging. This includes telecom circles of Delhi and Mumbai. Earlier, BSNL's free-unlimited tariff plans were t applicable in se areas. Finally, telco is expected to roll out full-fledged 4G services shortly. government has allocated 4G spectrum to BSNL. Tests are w nearing completion. telco could get on 4G bus in India very soon. BSNL also recently trended hugely on micro-blogging site Twitter under hashtags "India need BSNL", "BSNL 4G" and " Switch to BSNL" respectively.
