Google Pixel 4 white ‘Panda’ variant also leaks ahead of Oct 15 launch

The Google Pixel 4 can’t catch a break. Days after renders of the “Just Black” and “Oh So Orange” colourways of the phone made their way to the Internet, the white “Panda” flavour of the phone in question have also leaked online – leaving nothing to the imagination. As is usually the case, the Panda variant of the phone will come with a white back and a black camera module. The outer frame, it seems, will be all black too while the power button will be orange. 

As for the all-round design, we’ve seen it a gazillion times now. So here goes, the Pixel 4 will come with slim bezels on three sides and a sizeable forehead housing the selfie camera and quite possibly the Soli tech behind Google’s new Motion Sense technology. On the rear the phone will come with a squared-out camera array with two sensors and flash. A physical fingerprint scanner isn’t there which means we’re either looking at an in-display solution or advanced face unlock – the chances of the latter being the default seem highly likely at this point of time. The power button and volume rocker will be on the right while the SIM slot will be on the left.  

Google’s has had a tough time keeping its Pixel phones a secret every year and this year’s Pixel 4 is no different. Even the whole spec list is out in the open now, so we have some idea of what to expect.  

Pixel 4 rumoured specs

As is usually the case, both the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will have a lot in common, according to a recent leak. This includes core hardware, cameras as well as software. Both the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL phones will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor paired with 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. Both the phones will come with a 12MP Dual-Pixel main and 16MP telephoto camera. Both the phones will come with a 90Hz display and motion sensing tech for advanced face unlock. Both the phones will pack stereo speakers. Charging will be through USB Type –C. And, there will be no headphone jack.
