Honor 20i, Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro launched in India, price starts at Rs 14,999

Huawei may be in a tight spot se days, but that isn’t stopping company and its offshoot brand Hor from doing ir own thing – it's business as usual as some would say, even though future of Huawei and Hor devices remains a big concern, with ongoing Trump ministration ban. Hor launched its Hor 20-series in India on Tuesday. Hor 20-series spawns three smartphones spanning multiple price points, ensuring re’s a little something for everybody – should anybody be looking to buy an Hor smartphone.  

phones in question are mid-tier Hor 20 Pro and Hor 20, and budget Hor 20i – which is a rebranded Hor 20 Lite for Indian market. While Hor 20 Pro has been launched in India at a price of Rs 39,999, Hor 20 and Hor 20i have been launched at Rs 32,999 and Rs 14,999 respectively.

Hor 20 Pro, Hor 20 specs and features

Hor 20 Pro – which is flagship in series - may have same 48MP (Sony IMX586) camera as Hor View 20, but it has been reworked from scratch to produce even better results – especially in low light. It’s also paired with three ditional cameras, that offer most versatility on any smartphone at its price point. 

Hor 20 Pro’s 48MP main camera has widest aperture available on any smartphone – that's f/1.4 for your reference. This will be particularly useful in low and exceptionally low light.

More specifically, Hor 20 Pro comes with - 

-48MP main Sony IMX586 with f/1.4 aperture and OIS

-16MP super wide angle with f/2.2 aperture and 117-degree FOV 

-8MP telephoto with f/2.4 aperture and OIS for 3X optical zoom

-2MP macro with f/2.4 aperture 

regular Hor 20 tries to offer much of same camera experience at an even more affordable price. qu camera setup in Hor 20 has a 48MP main Sony IMX586 with f/1.8 aperture ( OIS), a 16MP super wide angle with f/2.2 aperture and 117-degree FOV, a 2MP depth with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. 

Speaking of core specs, both Hor 20 Pro and Hor 20 have same 6.26-inch 1080p+ LCD display with a punch-hole tch that houses a 32MP front camera. Both phones are powered by Huawei’s Kirin 980 processor – while Pro has 8GB RAM and 256GB stor, regular Hor 20 has 6GB RAM and 128GB stor. 

Both phones have same all-glass grient design with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner – while Hor 20 Pro will be available in Phantom Blue, Hor 20 will be available in Sapphire Blue and Midnight Black options. While Hor 20 Pro comes with a 4,000mAh battery, Hor 20 packs a smaller 3,750mAh battery – both phones support Huawei’s 22.5 SuperCharge fast charging tech. 

Hor 20i specs and features 

Hor 20i is most affordable of lot. It comes with Huawei and Hor’s signature grient finish design – phone will be available in as many as three colour options including Phantom Red, Phantom Blue, and Midnight Black. re’s a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a micro-USB port for charging and data syncing. 

Hor 20i comes with a 6.21-inch 1080p+ display with a dewdrop-style tch. processor inside is a Kirin 710 paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB stor which is also expandable. dual-SIM phone runs Android Pie-based EMUI 9 and has a 3,400mAh battery under hood. 

On to optics, Hor 20i comes with three rear cameras consisting of one 24MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with 120-degree field-of-view and a 2MP camera for depth sensing aka portrait photography. On front, Hor 20i comes with a 32MP camera.
