Xiaomi could be on the verge to announce its upcoming lineup of Redmi 7 series smartphones at its home turf. What leads to this speculations is a mysterious Xiaomi smartphone that has just appeared on a Chinese certification website TENAA. The handset in question bears the model number M1901F9T.

Recently, a number of Xiaomi handsets - M1901F7E, M1901F7T and M1901F7C - cleared 3C certification. The report has it that Xiaomi M1901F9T could very well be the Redmi 7 Pro. To recall, Xiaomi released Redmi 6 Pro in China that eventually re-launched as Mi A2 Lite in India.

As a result, we can safely assume that Redmi 7 Pro will essentially be the Mi A3 Lite outside China.

As per the TENAA listing, this is what Xiaomi M1901F7T is all about:

Following in the footsteps of Oppo, Vivo and OnePlus, Xiaomi could be preparing for its first mid-ranger featuring a waterdrop notch above the display. The listing also mentions the phone’s dimensions 147.76×71.89×7.8mm. The Redmi 6 Pro, meanwhile, measures 8.8mm in thickness.
