Apple just released its iOS 13 update worldwide and to their worst nightmare, privacy and security concerns have already been causing a huge uproar among the iPhone users. Here's what has happened: A major security flaw has reportedly been discovered in iOS 13 update that exposes iPhone users' contact details without requiring any authentication or identification. Shockingly, Apple was aware of this flaw since July, CNN reports citing someone who originally reported it to Apple.

But for hackers, it wouldn't be possible to remotely access contact details stored on iPhones running the latest iOS 13, though. According to the report, hackers trying to access contacts stored on your iPhone would require physical access to your device in order to complete the hack. But once your iPhone is in the hacker's possession, they could easily bypass Face ID authentication. Once the hack is complete, hackers can access your iPhone's address book, see the contact information, most recent contacts, etc.

What's the issue?
In July, a cybersecurity researcher Jose Rodriguez reported a 'passcode bypass' to Apple. Apple team followed-up with Rodriguez on calls and emails after which he demonstrated the flaw to the company. Unsure whether Apple will consider it a flaw and fix it in the latest software update, Rodriguez decided to make his discovery public. While it continues to affect iOS 13 users, Apple is fixing the issue in the next software update: iOS 13.1.
