iOS 14 FaceTime glitch explained: Picture-in-Picture glitch & how to pause a call

iOS 14 has been recently rolled out for users around world and while it may be Apple's most distinguished updates to-date, it does come with a few bugs which can be deemed troublesome for some. iOS 14, in way, is full of glitches like debut of iOS 13 back in day but minuscule issues present in latest OS are somewhat concerning. Back during iOS 14 beta release, users were complaining that FaceTime application was showing some glitches, it looks like glitches have patched on to stable rollout also.

A Reddit user had pointed out a few glitches on latest iOS 14 with FaceTime in mind two months back when initial update had made its way to beta platform. According to user, new Picture-in-Picture mode introduced by Apple has some issues. According to user, during a FaceTime video call, y would often get a transparent screen from ir end, and second person could t see m altoger. call would n get disconnected.

Similar issues are being reported for FaceTime by many users who have just got ir hands on latest software. Users, while being on P-i-P mode cant see person y're talking to. call n drops unexpectedly after a prompt of a bad connection.

P-i-P mode introduced by Apple has been showing glitches t just for FaceTime but also for apps like Netflix, browser, and more. It can be deemed that new mode which allows people to watch videos or FaceTime while using ir devices for or work has been triggering glitch.

How to pause FaceTime calls?
FaceTime calls have become marginally difficult to pause after iOS 14 release. Earlier, users could simply tap home screen which would pause ir video. However, w jumping on to home screen directly from a FaceTime call will lead to Picture-in-Picture mode. Users w need to acc3ess FaceTime options in order to turn camera off. Once call is ongoing, swipe from bottom of screen to access FaceTime options which will give users option to pause video.
