Now, as per a MySmartPrice report, that hints at the above Xiaomi phone with unknown nomenclature having received TENAA certification, this device may well be the Redmi 7 Pro. It is also speculated that there could be multiple variants of the Redmi 7 Pro with one of these featuring a 5.84-inch display and a 2900 mAh battery. Also, complete technical specifications of these Xiaomi (unknown variants) editions are yet to even surface; these should come to the fore in the near future. In this regard, Xiaomi loyalists could share thoughts/insights on the expected specifications within the speculated Redmi 7 series. AT this juncture, it is worth noting that very recently the Chinese smartphone brand released the Redmi 6 Pro that falls into the premium mid-range smartphones segment; and whose sales have been reportedly impressive in India. The handset is a sub Rs 20000 smartphone.
Hence, with regard to the Redmi 7, Xiaomi could very well have planned atleast one premium mid-ranger; if not a flagship; as the former category in India has been a hotly targeted one as almost all major smartphone brands (global brands including) have been releasing smartphones targeting the buyers in this segment who are essentially looking at mid-range smartphones – power packed; but not essentially flagship handsets.
