We already know that Nokia is hosting its next global smartphone event in Dubai on December 5, but little did we know that Nokia is calling out fans to join them. In a short video, Nokia’s chief product offer Juho Sarvikas extended an invitation to Nokia fans around the world to participate in a community contest stand a chance to win a free trip to Dubai. All you have to do is leave a comment below its official community forum post. Folks over at Nokia will them select a few lucky fans who will go on a 48-hour round trip to Dubai.

Nokia CPO Juho Sarvikas recently tweeted a teaser of the launch event along with hashtag #ExpectMore. If we look at the teaser carefully, Nokia is expected to unveil three new smartphones, two of them seem to feature a notch above their display. However, we were unable to determine whether the third model on the far right features a notched display.

As per the reports, the December 5 event in Dubai is likely to witness the launch of Nokia 8.1 and Nokia 9. Nokia 8.1 is believed to be a rebranded Nokia X7, which became official in China last month. Hence, there is a possibility that Nokia 8.1 would offer similar specs as that Nokia X7. Some of the specs include a 6.18-inch Full HD screen, Snapdragon 710 chip, 6 gigs of RAM and 128 gigs of expandable storage.

Speculation has it that Nokia 9, on the other hand, would carry a Penta-lens camera setup and in-display fingerprint reader on the back. Nokia 9 is also tipped to sport a 5.9-inch OLED screen with QHD resolution and Snapdragon 845 processor under the hood. We are expecting more information to come our way as we move closer towards the launch date.
