The OnePlus 7 Pro may have eclipsed it with its one-of-its-kind 90Hz QHD+ OLED display, but that’s not to say that the vanilla OnePlus 7 is any less a flagship. Probably its biggest selling point is its lower asking price – the OnePlus 7 starts at Rs 32,999 in India even as the Pro will set you back by Rs 48,999 at least. The OnePlus 7 will go on sale in India for the first time on June 4 and will be available for buying from across Amazon India, OnePlus online store and OnePlus exclusive offline stores.

There’s no denying that the OnePlus 7 is a rehashed OnePlus 6T with more power and better cameras – at least as far as paper specs are concerned. The OnePlus 7 is powered by Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 855 processor and packs a 48MP main camera with Sony’s IMX586 sensor. That’s in addition to UFS 3.0 storage and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos sound. Rest of the spec sheet is practically the same as the OnePlus 6T – the design stays the same as well.

A quick raincheck on specs – the OnePlus 7 has a 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED display with a waterdrop-style notch, a Snapdragon 855 processor with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage (that’s non-expandable), Android Pie-based OxygenOS (that’s eligible for Android Q beta), dual rear cameras consisting of a 48MP+5MP (depth), 16MP front camera, and a 3,700mAh battery with 20W fast charging through USB Type-C.

The OnePlus 7 will be available in two configurations, 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB. The OnePlus 7 will further be available in two colour options - Mirror Grey (6GB/128 GB, 8GB/256 GB) and Red (8GB/256 GB). While the 6GB/128GB variant will be available for Rs 32,999, the top-end variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage will be available for Rs 37,999. While Amazon India, OnePlus online store and OnePlus exclusive offline stores will start selling the OnePlus 7 from June 4, OnePlus partner retail stores will start selling the phone from June 14.
