After OnePlus and Oppo, now Realme is also working on a smartphone with a 90Hz display. Realme's product manager Wang Derek has confirmed on China’s social media website Weibo that the company is working on such a phone. Although no further details have been shared, the Realme product manager has confirmed the phone in question will be more affordable than say the OnePlus 7 – which isn’t surprising since that’s the kind of price segment Realme likes to operate in anyways.

One of the headlining features of the OnePlus 7 Pro is its 90Hz display panel – something that makes scrolling on the phone’s expansive screen buttery smooth. Previously Oppo has confirmed that it is working on a phone with a 90Hz display, and now even Realme is joining the ranks. More details about both the Oppo as well as the Realme phone are awaited.

Realme is gearing to launch the Realme XT in India on September 13 and rumor has it that its upcoming phone with 90Hz panel could be called the Realme XT Pro – which as the name suggests, could be a more potent variant of the Realme XT.  Realme comes packed with a 64MP quad camera. Realme may not be the first brand to launch a 64MP camera phone, but looks like, it’s all set to become the first brand to launch a 64MP camera phone in India. Xiaomi will launch its own 64MP camera phone, the Redmi Note 8 Pro, in India by October.

Realme XT Pro Specs

The alleged Realme XT Pro is also rumored to carry a 64MP quad camera setup on the rear and a 32MP camera on the front. It is said to come with a 6.44-inch 1080p+ AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB storage under the hood, and a 4,000mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging powering the whole thing.

Should Realme launch a mid-ranger with a 90Hz display, it could well be the most affordable phone that we see in the market with such a spec in the market in the days to come.
