In what could be good news for Xiaomi Redmi fans in India, the company has scheduled the Redmi Note 8 Pro launch in India for October 16. Amazon has a new listing posted on its website confirming the arrival of the Redmi Note 7 successor in the Indian market. Along with Amazon India, Xiaomi's Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone will also be available to purchase, courtesy of Mi.com and offline channels including Mi Stores.

In terms of optics, it houses 64MP+8MP+2MP+2MP quad-camera unit on the rear whereas, on the front, there's a 20MP secondary sensor for selfies and video calls.
