The Samsung Galaxy A50 is now receiving an update to correct touchscreen issues. This update is a phased one. It also features the August security patch that introduces newer security mechanisms to the Galaxy A50 smartphone. This update is also said to be enhancing moisture detection algorithm of the handset.
The new update
Now, as per a TizenHelp report, this new update bearing version number A505GNDXU3ASH4 and occupies moe than 200MB internal storage of the Galaxy A50. As far as newer enhancements are concerned, there are the fixes to touchscreen issues along with the Knox Guard improbvements. This rolout is also said to be a phased one. This means that it would take significant time for the newer software to seed to all Galaxy A50 phones. At this point in time, this rollout is said to have begun from certain countries and is also slated to hit Indian users. Hence, users could check for newer notifications (over-the-air) and also manually by navigating to Settings > Update > Check for new updates. The smartphone is priced at Rs19990.
