Samsung Galaxy M30 - the highly expected Galaxy M Series smartphone could be affordably priced upon release. The device’s launch date also got a new tip-off now.
As per IANS, the Samsung Galaxy M30 would be launched in India in February, with sales reportedly slated to begin in March 2019. The smartphone would also reportedly be priced at Rs 14990; gauging these, it seems that the device could be relatively affordable. If you are new to Samsung’s Galaxy M smartphone series, then it is worth remembering that the smartphones in the series viz Galaxy M10, and Galaxy M20 are purely affordable phones; with the former’s price starting from Rs 7990.

Now, with the Galaxy M30 also slated to have a sub-Rs 15000 price tag, it potentially sounds exciting considering the fact that Samsung seemingly focussed intensively on premium/high-end devices that are generally availed on Equated Monthly Installments (EMI) by even the elite buyers in India. Hence, it makes sense to have a pure-mid-ranger that truly caters to buyers not having to part with a significant chunk of their monthly (and other) earnings.
If you are an early adapter to Samsung Galaxy M smartphone series, then the M30 is rumoured to offer key technical specifications such as:

- 6.38-inch Infinity-V display
- Android 9.0 (Pie) operating system
- Triple rear cameras
- A single front snapper
- 4 GB RAM
- At least 64 GB internal storage
- MicroSD card slot for expanding internal storage up to at least 256 GB
- LTE, HSPA, Bluetooth 5, USB 2.0 connectivity
- Unknown battery configuration.
Upon release, the Samsung Galaxy M30 could potentially compete with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro that is also slated to be released on February 28 in India and which is hugely expected with a less than Rs 15K price tag. This competition could be both ways - technical specifications as well as pricing.
