Samsung Galaxy M50 tipped to launch in India on November 15 

Considering that this is the next Galaxy M phone, it’s highly likely that Samsung will bring it to offline sale channels also.

Samsung’s next Galaxy M-series phone will likely be called Galaxy M50 and it will be launched in India on vember 15, according to a new 91mobiles report. information is said to come from a “Samsung tification to its retail partners, which res “we look to provide next M-series smartphone.” furr details have been shared. 

Considering that this is next Galaxy M phone, it’s highly likely that Samsung will bring it to offline sale channels also. Galaxy M-series, to recall, has been an online-only affair in India since launch. Phones under line-up are sold via Amazon India and Samsung’s own e-store. But this is likely to change soon as Samsung is reportedly looking to launch its next Galaxy M phone offline “at same time and same price."

Details about Galaxy M50, or whatever Samsung decides to call its next Galaxy M-series phone, are scarce as of this moment but given that Galaxy M40 is one of most affordable phones in India to pack a punch-hole display, something similar will be expected from its successor as well. That is to say that Galaxy M50 is also expected to pack something unique. More details are awaited. 

Speaking of specs, Galaxy M40 comes with a 6.3-inch 1080p+ TFT LCD display. phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB stor which is also expandable via a hybrid micro-SD card slot. dual SIM phone runs Android 9 Pie-based One UI software. Galaxy M40 furr packs a 3,500mAh battery with 15W fast charging through USB -C. re’s hephone jack, but Samsung bundles USB -C earphones in box.

On to cameras, Galaxy M40 comes with three rear cameras consisting of one 32MP sensor (Samsung GD1 sensor for effective 8MP photos) with f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 5MP sensor for depth sensing aka portrait photography. On front, Galaxy M40 comes with a 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture. 

Galaxy M40 was launched in India in June at a price of Rs 19,990.
