The Galaxy A70s is Samsung’s first 64MP camera phone 

Samsung recently anunced world’s first 64MP smartphone camera sensor – Samsung GW1 sensor. With Xiaomi and Realme alrey shipping devices with 64MP sensor, it was only about time that Samsung also joined bandwagon. It is doing that w. Galaxy A70s is Samsung’s first 64MP camera phone and it will be available for buying in India from September 28 at a starting price of Rs 28,999 for base variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB stor, going all way to Rs 30,999 for top-end variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB stor.

main USP of phone is without a doubt its 64MP camera that uses Samsung’s own 64MP GW1 sensor. sensor works on same principle as its 48MP GM1 and 32MP GD1 sensors – effectively producing sharper, more detailed 16MP photos in low light, and using software interpolation to produce high resolution 64MP photos as and when required. Xiaomi’s Redmi te 8 Pro and Realme’s XT are only phones rocking a 64MP camera at this point of time – of se, only latter is available in India for w.  

Rest of specs are in line with Galaxy A70 which means that Galaxy A70s comes with a 6.7-inch 1080p+ Super AMOLED display with Infinity-U style tch. phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB stor which is also expandable. dual SIM phone runs Android 9 Pie-based One UI. phone furr packs a sizeable 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging through USB -C. 

Galaxy A70s uses Samsung’s 32MP GD1 sensor on front, while on back it has three cameras – a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor (with 120-degree field-of-view) and a 5MP sensor for depth sensing aka portrait photography.
