data offering under new Vodafone Rs 499 plan is 2GB per day. This complements alrey existing Rs 398 prepaid recharge plan that is also valid for 82 days but offer sonly 1.4GB data per day. new scheme also falls under ambit of unlimited-free calling.

As for voice calling, re would be IUC levied. This, as fixed by TRAI is 6 paise per minute. Jio alrey levies IUC on customers making voice calls to n-Jio networks across India. w, Vodafone Rs 499 plan which is valid for 82 days offers free voice calling for up to 250 minutes in a day. re would be 100 free text messs as well.
For uninitiated, data offering under Rs 499 plan would be Supernet 4G. This would essentially be high-speed data. Here, plan is seemingly suitable for those users preferring to opt out from having to recharge every month just to even keep ir prepaid numbers active,, and also for those preferring to indulge in increased multimedia content consumption and watching content streaming on ir smartphones.

An important point to remember, at this juncture, is IUC levy. This unlimited pack does t levy extra IUC on customers making calls to n-Vodafone networks. Also, it is worth remembering that re have been rumours of late about Vodafone exiting India due to mounting losses. telco stated that it has plans to do so and would continue offering and upgring telecom services for India. Supreme Court, in a recent verdict has upheld central government’s definition of justed Gross Revenue (AGR) leing to a huge amount to pay for certain incumbent telcos amounting to as much as Rs 92000 crores combined.
