Vodafone India's Rs 999 yearly recharge plan seems to be new, and the data offering under this Prepaid tariff scheme is a paltry 12GB over a 365-day validity period, along with unlimited voice calling. This means that you could talk on and on endlessly while getting to surf a little internet and check your WhatsApp messages as well as others’ status.
The Vodafone Rs 999 prepaid recharge plan seems bizarre because it has now become a trend to offer at least a GB of data for a day – for a period of 365 days, whilst offering unlimited + free voice calling. This new plan, though applicable to only the telco’s Punjab telecom circle, should offer more data at least theoretically and shelling out Rs 1000 despite getting to use for a year does not seem worth to us. Why does not Vodafone offer at least half a GB data per day under this plan? Think you know the answer, do share in your comments section below.

Now, coming back to the Rs 999 plan by Vodafone that offers 12GB data during its entire duration, this scheme is reflecting currently on the Vodafone eRecharge portal. There are also as many as 100 text messages for free per day along with unlimited (and free) voice calling throughout the country with zero roaming charges.
In case you are a Vodafone Punjab customer desirous of indulging more in speaking to others than you want to use the web, and aiming at avoiding to having to recharge monthly, then you could check this plan out. As far as pan India unlimited package plans of Vodafone are concerned, the telco has the Rs 1699 scheme that offers 1GB data (4G, 3G) per day in addition to free – unlimited voice calling with 100 free SMS and free roaming.
