Xiaomi’s social focus, which has been coming to fore of late, has w surfaced in a seemingly unique way. On Children’s day, Manu Jain and Xiaomi have donated lakhs of tebooks to school-going children and students. w, this is t a big development from a general everyday news perspective, but what makes it seemingly unique is that it has come from a consumer techlogy brand (Chinese) that also looks like it believes in giving back to society, rar than use  society just as a means of doing product sales and for finding cheap labour.
