Chess grandmaster Hikaru Nakamura recently spoke about how streaming has affected his life. He was seen having a conversation with Levy Rozman on his stream. He spoke about how important streaming community is for him. Hikaru pointed out one thing that he thinks is different between Twitch community and Chess. He says that much of his career, much of his life, he’s sort of been "b guy". He said that Twitch community showed him immense love, for which grandmaster will always be grateful. He also ded that “I’m t someone who has been liked. Very often at times, I’ve been perceived as person that people don’t want to root for, who people don’t like”.

He also ds that having all of support from Twitch community and fact that re are fans who do support him means a lot for him.
