Epic Games 500 error: Free GTA 5 download breaks the Epic Games Store
Epic Games 500 error - Epic Games Store crashed recently due to high traffic volumes on the site following a GTA 5 leak with fans rushing to download the title.

Epic Games team h been teasing fans with a new free ‘mystery game’ on Epic Games Store this whole week before accidentally revealing on May 14 that free game title was, in fact, Rockstar smash, GTA 5.
Epic Games 500 error
Since GTA went live yesterday, re has been a massive amount of traffic on company servers with GTA fans rushing to Epic Games Store to get ir free copy of GTA 5. And as one could imagine, this led to huge lo on servers with many fans encountering 500 errors and slow loing times, among or issues. site has also been flashing '403 Forbidden' mess to a number of visitors. Epic Games dresses issue
Epic Games soon ackwledged issue on its Twitter and assured fans that team has been working to fix issue. Here's tweet:
company followed up with ar statement to tify users that team has deployed updates to provide resolution for issues that have been faced by users. It furr ded that most users should w be able to access Epic Games Store and Launcher without any trouble. company also assured fans that y will continue to monitor traffic on platform and provide updates if any furr issues are encountered.

At time of writing, most of issues have been resolved for many so it is recommended that you restart your system and try reinstalling game.
