PUBG to be 'revived' by Jio for a comeback in the Indian market, suggest reports

PUBG mobile has been away from the Indian market following its ban. Read below to know whether Jio is partnering up with the game to bring it back to India.

 PUBG has been in troubled waters ever since its ban has been implemented in India. While game is still up and running for users who had already installed it, new users cant find it on ir respective android or iOS stores to download. However, it looks like PUBG is desperate to return to Indian market in a full-swing and strengn its foothold in country. w, a report in Code Habitude and or gaming-centric portals reveals that PUBG may be getting into a partnership with Jio to publish game in India.

PUBG X Jio team up? 

A few days after its ban from Indian market, PUBG broke its tie with Tencent games. w, a report in Code Habitude suggests that Jio and PUBG are negotiating a deal to bring back game to India. According to report, a source was quoted saying that deal is currently in its early sts and it began just after second rounds of ban was declared by Indian government.

report stated furrmore that PUBG and Jio are currently negotiating on revenues and how y should be split. terms are currently revolving around a 50:50 model, which is t yet confirmed. PUBG in past was vocal about entering Indian turf again and working with government in order to resume its operations in India. Check out excerpts from ir blog post below -

With company hinting that it wishes to come back to India and find a way to work within Indian laws and regulations, wher or t y partner with Jio is yet to be made public. However, company has in past partnered up with Jio in order to provide in-game goodies to Jio card-holders. Thus, partnering up again to bring back game does t sound to be a long shot.
