Sony postpones its PS5 event in wake of widespread protests in US

Sony recently announced on Twitter that it will be delaying the PS5 reveal that was scheduled for June 4 due to the widespread protests in the US.

Sony h scheduled a reveal of its much-awaited next-gen console PlayStation 5 and some of games that can be played on it on June 4 but has w anunced a delay in reveal. According to reports, Sony Play Station's official twitter account shared news of delays and attributed it to recent protests in United States against systematic racism against African-Americans.

Protests delay PS5 event 

As per reports, death of George Floyd, an unarmed black man in police custody in Minnesota on May 25 has triggered widespre and violent protests in United States.

During hour-long event, Sony h planned to showcase some new PS5 games for PlayStation 5 which was scheduled to be launched during holiday season this year.
