Any person who is a legal citizen of India can only apply for Ration Card. According to law, children below 18 years of age (minors) are included under ir parents' ration card. However, a user can apply for a separate Ration Card once y are above 18 years of age.

Depending on which state you live in, URL you need to visit varies. For example, if you were to apply in Maharastra, URL would be http://mahafood.gov.in. complete procedure to downlo application form is provided below-

• Step 1- Visit official website of FCCPD, Maharashtra i.e. http://mahafood.gov.in.
• Step 2- on “Downlo” link given on left side of homepage.
• Step 3- on “Form 1: Application for new ration card” link.             
• Step 4- Application form will appear.                  
• Step 5- Citizens can check application details. 
• Step 6- Citizens have to downlo and print it    
• Step 7- Now, y have to fill application forms with all correct details.          
• Step 8- Candidates have to attach all important documents with application form.      
• Step 9- Lastly, y have to physically submit application form to concerned department. 

How to apply for a Ration Card Online?

1. Go to aaplesarkar.mahaonline.gov.in and signing with your details
2. Scroll down and on "Food & Public Distribution System" in 'Services' column.
3. Uplo PDF of necessary documents, on "Apply"
4. And continue procedure of filling form.
5. Downlo and Print e-coupon of ration card.

How to check ration e-coupon status?

After submission of application, applicant can check application status online. To check online status of ration card or e-coupon application, a user needs to follow se easy steps given below-

• Go to official website of concerned authority i.e. http://mahafood.gov.in.
• on “Transparency Portal” link.
• on “Allocation Generation Status” link.
• Enter ration card details and proceed furr.
• application status will appear.
