Instagram user accuses Facebook of spying on users via phone camera; files lawsuit
In yet another case, an Instagram user has accused Facebook of spying on the social media app users by illegally accessing their phone cameras.

A lawsuit has been filed against Facebook accusing social media platform of spying on Instagram users through ir cameras. complaint has been filed by an Instagram user in federal court in San Francisco of New Jersey according to international media reports. Earlier in July, media reports alleged that Instagram has been accessing cameras of iPhone users of app even when y were inactive. social media giant went on to deny claims and blamed a bug for 'false tification and asserted that y were trying to correct it.

Instagram user sues Facebook for invasion of privacy
As reported by Bloomberg, Instagram user Brittany Conditi has claimed that social media giant is inving privacy of users, spying on m and monitoring ir data. lawsuit alleges that Instagram has been spying on people through unauthorised use and access of mobile phone cameras of users of photo-sharing app. Conditi has furr claimed that Facebook has been doing this intentionally. complaint also suggests that social media networking app has been 'inving privacy of users' in order to collect 'lucrative and valuable data on its users that it would t orwise have access to' as per reported.

According to report, Facebook and Instagram are accessing extremely private information and personal data available on smartphone of users for purpose of 'market research'. This isn't first time a privacy concern related lawsuit has been filed against social media giant. According to Bloomberg report, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Facebook last month, alleging that Instagram has been accessing biometric data of user like face scans/recognition which allows it to automatically tag users in ir photographic using photos from ir database. lawsuit has been filed in Illiis for violation of Biometric Information Privacy Act which says that face scans and biometric data cant be collected without consent of user.
