iOS 18.1.1 Now Available in India: Check Eligible iPhone Models

Apple has rolled out iOS 18.1.1 update for iPhone users in India and all or markets. iOS 18.1.1 is a minor update that brings security patches for iPhone. While Apple has not specified what vulnerabilities it has patched with new update, official changelog for iOS 18.1.1 says update brings "important security fixes."

Since iOS 18.1.1 update focuses only iPhone's security, it does not bring any new features or improvements. Apple is saving all new features for iOS 18.2, which is expected in December.

How to install iOS 18.1.1 on iPhone

Installing latest iOS update is quite simple. Users with eligible iPhone models can he to Settings, followed by a tap on General and n on Software Update. Should an update become available for iPhone, it will automatically show up on screen. Users now need to tap Downlo & Install button to start downloing update and install it.

iOS 18.2 features

In or news, Apple is planning to roll out next major update to iPhone with iOS 18.2. While iOS 18.1 introduced Apple Intelligence and a redesigned Siri, next iOS 18 update will expand Apple's AI capabilities to include ChatGPT integration and Visual Search that will leverage new Camera Control button on iPhone 16 series and iPhone 16 Pro lineups. It will also introduce or iOS 18 features, such as Image Playground, which will allow users to create images through text prompts, Genmoji, which will let users generate emojis from photos, and a redesigned Mail app.
