Oppo Find X8 Series Launched in India: Price, Specifications

The Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Pro smartphones have high-end specifications, including improved cameras, brighter displays, and flagship chips from MediaTek.

Oppo has launched its flagship Find X8 series in India. The Find X8 and Find X8 Pro smartphones have high-end specifications, including improved cameras, brighter displays, and flagship chips from MediaTek instead of Qualcomm. Powering the new Find X8 series is the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip, which the company claims offers 40 per cent more efficiency than the previous chipset. The Find X8 series also supports generative artificial intelligence features by leveraging the capabilities of a new Neural Processing Unit (NPU).

The Find X8 starts at ₹69,999, while the Find X8 Pro costs ₹99,999. Both smartphones will go on sale from December 3 via Oppo's online store, Flipkart, and other partner stores.

Oppo Find X8, Find X8 Pro specifications

The new Find X8 and Find X8 Pro use the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, based on a 3nm process, for better power efficiency. The Dimensity 9400’s Cortex-X925 core is clocked at 3.62GHz, coupled with 3X Cortex-X4 + 4X Cortex A720 cores. The company claims it overall notches 35 per cent faster CPU performance and 40 per cent faster GPU 
performance than the previous generation.

The Find X8 has a 6.59-inch AMOLED display, while the Find X8 Pro boasts a 6.78-inch display. Both displays support up to 120Hz refresh rate and can offer a peak brightness of 4500 nits. Oppo says both phones use its in-house ProXDR technology for "superior" contrast and compatibility with Ultra-HDR content. The displays on both smartphones have Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection on top. Oppo has equipped the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro with IP68 and IP69 ratings for protection against dust, immersion resistance in up to 1.5m of water for 30 minutes, and resistance to high-pressure water jets at up to 80°C.

For photography, the Find X8 has a 50MP Sony LYT700 primary camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. On the other hand, the Find X8 Pro packs four cameras, including a 50MP Sony LYT808 sensor, a 50MP Sony LYT600 sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX858 sensor, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. Both phones have a 32MP Sony IMX615 selfie camera in common. While the Oppo Find X8 packs a 5630mAh battery, the Find X8 Pro has a 5910mAh battery, both featuring support for 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
