Reliance Jio launches new ISD plans starting at Rs 39
Reliance Jio has introduced new international subscriber dialing (ISD) plans for prepaid and postpaid users.
Reliance Jio has introduced new plans for users to make calls in as many as 21 countries. The latest International Subscriber Dialing (ISD) plans start at Rs 39 and go all the way up to 99, giving users calling benefits to countries such as the US, Canada, Bangladesh , Malaysia, Thailand, and Australia. Jio said the new plans are available for prepaid and postpaid users through the MyJio app.
The cost of the ISD plans varies according to countries where the plan for the US and Canada is the cheapest, while that for the country cluster, which includes United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Kuwait, and Bahrain, costs the maximum price of Rs 99. These pay-as-you-go recharge plans do not have a restriction on how users can utilise the calling minutes but will last only up to 7 days from the day of activation. However, these plans do not provide data or SMS benefits.
The Jio Rs 39 plan offers 30 minutes of voice calls to the US and Canada. At a little higher price, the Rs 49 plan provides users with 20 calling minutes to Bangladesh . Users who want to make calls to Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Hong Kong can go for the Rs 59 pack that offers 15 minutes. The Rs 69 ISD plan brings 15 minutes for calls made to Australia and New Zealand numbers. For those looking to make calls to numbers in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Spain, Jio’s Rs 79 ISD plan is an option. It offers 10 minutes of calling minutes. The ISD plan for China, Japan, and Bhutan costs Rs 89 and offers 15 minutes. Finally, the most expensive plan worth Rs 99 allows 10 minutes of calls to the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
Reliance Jio said users can recharge their number with any of these plans any number of times. Each time a validity of 7 days will be added to the user’s prepaid or postpaid account.
