Three-three-labelling system and what each implies
Twitter’s “Get latest” label prompt implies that information being shared by user holds aunticity although more related content can be browsed to ascertain facts. Twitter will drop a link that will navigate user onto a separate website with respect to information shared by Twitter user. “Stay informed,” meanwhile implies unauntic information that may be factually incomplete or appears to be misleing. In this case, Twitter will navigate user to verified source or link of information to obtain more accurate kwledge related to topic.
Twitter’s third label “Misleing” alerts users of hoax, disinformation, and unsubstantiated information that may have been circulating due to rumours. This label might include a small icon to signal that information is a “fake news”. This may be case when Twitter does t recognize source of information or can neir validate its aunticity. “You may t deceptively promote syntic or manipulated media that are likely to cause harm. In dition, we may label Tweets containing syntic and manipulated media to help people understand ir aunticity and to provide ditional context,” Twitter warned on its blogpost.
