YouTube TV Now Potentially Available Throughout The US

YouTube TV is now available throughout the United States, after two years since it was first launched. This official announcement by the video content giant should offer YouTube loyalists plenty to cheer about.

At this point in time, the YouTube TV is officially rolling out to as many as 95 geographies in the US and this combined with the 100 regions earlier should yield to near-total coverage of all households in the US as far as penetration is concerned.

“Just in time for the Big Game, you can now bring together some tasty game day snacks with the full experience of YouTube TV. That’s exciting news for living rooms, cord-cutters, and cord-nevers in neighbourhoods far and wide, from Bozeman to Gainesville, Anchorage to Yuma, and Erie to Topeka,” stated folks t YouTube in n official blog post.

For the uninitiated, YouTube TV offers live content streaming without the hassles of cable-tv. With YouTube TV, users would be able to access more than 60 networks viz ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC. Plus, along with popular cable-tv networks.

Also, subscribers could access a cloud DVR with no storage space limits. This means that users could even record live TV without having to worry about hassles concerning storage of the recorded content.

In other social media-related developments, Google+ could be shut down soon due to issues concerning the Google+ Application Program Interface (API) came to the fore very recently. Though this bug did not cause any privacy-related issues, Google is apparently taking no chances and could hence be resorting to shutting down the social media platform altogether.

“In addition, we have also decided to accelerate the sunsetting of consumer Google+ from August 2019 to April 2019. While we recognize there are implications for developers, we want to ensure the protection of our users,” stated G-Suite Vice-President of Product Management David Thacker in a recent blog post.
