Zomato user refused to accept food from a non-Hindu rider, Zomato's response will win your heart

Recently, a Zomato user cancelled his food order for a reason that had nothing to do with the food: Here's what happened, the food-delivery app allocated a 'non-Hindu' rider to deliver the user's order. This did not fly well with the user who swiftly took to Twitter to announce his disbelief at the situation.  On Twitter, the user said that he cancelled his order on Zomato because he was allocated a 'non-Hindu' rider. He posted a Tweet saying that he also asked Zomato to change the rider or refund money on cancellation.

"Just cancelled an order on @ZomatoIN they allocated a non hindu rider for my food they said they can't change rider and can't refund on cancellation I said you can't force me to take a delivery I don't want don't refund just cancel," a Twitter user said.

Zomato responded to his tweet with a message that will certainly win your heart. Here's what the company had to say in reply:

"Food doesn’t have a religion. It is a religion."

Zomato's founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal also reacted to this

Meanwhile, Twitterati has also voiced against this incident while some of them have also demanded the user's account gets suspended for this discrimination.
