Maintaining good hygiene habits is always essential, but it's especially crucial in places like airports and aircraft. In such environments, keeping hygiene a priority is vital.

Due to the inbound and outbound travellers from across states and countries at airports, not everyone is travelling in good health. Some travellers may be sick, and if proper hygiene isn't maintained, illnesses can easily spread.

Basic plan hygiene

Disinfect your seating area: Start by disinfecting your seating area, including the armrests, tray table, and window panes. These surfaces may be touched by infected travellers and could harbour harmful germs.

Use hand sanitizer: Airplanes have many hand-touch surfaces, making them hotspots for germs. Regularly use hand sanitizer to reduce the risk of infections.

Maintain oral hygiene: A dry mouth can breed bacteria, leading to bad breath and oral infections. Rinse your mouth, chew gum, or drink water to stimulate saliva production.

Wear a face mask: Keep your face mask on at all times, covering both your mouth and nose, to help prevent viral infections.

Moisturize regularly: The dry air inside the aircraft can dehydrate your skin, leading to irritation and inflammation. Apply a good moisturizer as needed.

Despite these precautions, it’s essential to take a proper bath after your flight. Pay special attention to areas such as your hands, feet, underarms, head, and around your ears.
