Iron Dome Takes Down Iranian Ballistic Missiles

The biggest escalation on the wider West Asian warfront, Iran fired a range of ballistic missiles into Israel, shedding its proxy war with its arch enemy and marking its big-bang entry into the conflict. More than 180 missiles of varying strike range streaked through the nightsky over Jerusalem and elsewhere across the Jewish homeland, in retaliation for the killing of Hezbollaah chief Hassan Nasrallah and top Iranian military commander Gen. Abbas Nilforushan in targeted Israeli airstrikes.
