Muda Scam Probe: Special Court Orders Lokayukta To Begin Its Probe Against Siddaramaiah

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah faces new legal challenges as the Special Court for People’s Representatives has directed the Karnataka Lokayukta police to investigate and file a case against him. The case involves several charges under the IPC, sections 9 and 13 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, sections 3, 53, and 54 of the Prohibition of Benami Property Transactions Act, and sections 3 and 4 of the Karnataka Land Grabbing Prohibition Act. The investigation also includes his wife, brother-in-law, and others.
