Fresh Clashes Reported In Manipur, Several Areas Are On High Alert After Attack

Suspected hill-based terrorists launched gun-and-bomb attacks in parts of Lamlai constituency in Manipur ’s Imphal East district, prompting a fierce exchange of fire as Army, BSF, and police forces retaliated. The clashes occurred in Sanasabi, Sabungkhok Khunou, and Thamnapokpi, leaving nearby villages on high alert as farmers were unable to access their paddy fields due to firing from elevated positions. To prevent further escalation, additional forces have been deployed to the area.
