Manipur Violence: CM N Biren Singh Reiterates Foreign Hand Claim After Kuki Insurgent Arrest

Manipur CM N Biren Singh speaks to Republic on the arrest of a the Kuki insurgent arrested at the Indo-Myanmar border and reiterated the role of a foreign hand in the drone and missile attacks in the state over the past few weeks. On Sunday, a suspected member of the Kuki National Army-Burma (KNA-B) was apprehended in Chandel district by the Assam Rifles and subsequently handed over to Manipur Police, according to sources. The individual, identified as Thangliankap from Khampat, Myanmar, is currently detained at the Chandel Police Station.
