Traffic Cops Hit & Dragged By Drivers In Southwest Delhi, 2 Minors Apprehended

Two traffic personnel were injured after a car dragged both of them near Ber Sarai market on Saturday evening, an official statement said. Police said that cops tried to stop the car for jumping the red light however driver escaped after hitting both the officers while they were on duty. The injured officials identified as ASI Pramod and Head Constable Sailesh were conducting mobile prosecution at the time of the incident. A PCR call to PS Kishan Garh reported that a car struck officers while they were on duty, necessitating urgent medical assistance. The Delhi Police have classified the incident as a serious offense, with traffic police alleging that the driver's reckless behavior constituted an attempt on their lives.
