The India men's hockey team beat China 1-0 in the Asian Champions Trophy final to win the coveted trophy for a fifth time. A sole goal from Jugraj Singh was enough to get the game done for India. China were the underdogs and defended well in the hopes of forcing a shootout. For 3 quarters, they were able to keep India's attack at bay and frustrate them. But their resistance broke in the final quarter as India won the game comfortably after that.
