Ordering food and groceries online has become a common practice, but with that convenience comes multiple added charges. Recently, an X user named Medhavi Singh shared a screenshot of her order summary where a ₹60 order ballooned to ₹171 after additional charges. Singh captioned the post, “Bro What????” with crying emojis.

Although the name of the app isn't visible in the screenshot, the breakdown of charges is clear: a Small Cart Fee of ₹35, a Handling Charge of ₹9.99, a Surge Fee of ₹40, and a Delivery Fee of ₹27, adding up to ₹112 in charges on a ₹60 order. Interestingly, the app also mentioned that adding products worth ₹39 would waive the delivery fee.

In the comments, users shared their opinions on the inflated order summary. One user remarked, “All these fees could be combined into one called ‘aalsi fee’.” Another chimed in, “This is what happens even when you have membership.”

Others humorously suggested alternative solutions, with one user joking, “Remember there's always water to drink and sleep, just like I did.” Chetan, another user, offered a practical take: “Take a short walk and get it yourself. Businesses can't afford free delivery on such small orders; that's why there's a minimum amount for free delivery. ₹50-60 would just go to the delivery driver.”
