Viral Video: Pakistani athlete Arshad Nadeem's video is going viral on social media for all the wrong reasons. In the viral video where he is wishing Independence Day to all the Pakistani viewers, a noise can be heard in the back where someone is snoring as if someone's sleeping in the background.

The video shared by @StaaaPlaar on social media X is now spreading on social media like wildfire, with over 173.3K views so far and counting. The viral video of Arshad Nadeem also comes with an interesting caption that says, ‘Peechy Pakistani Qoum so rahe hai', which loosely translates to the Pakistani community sleeping in the background.

The video was originally shared by Arshad Nadeem on Instagram, but was later deleted and replaced with a news video. Nadeem deleted the video upon realising that it had caught the background noise and posted a new one without any disturbances. However, netizens were quick to catch on and react to create hilarious memes.

One more X user, @GabbbarSingh, shared the same video of Arshad Nadeem with a funny caption that says, ‘Arshad Nadeem asking Pakistani awaam to rise up while there is a guy snoring in the background. Poetic.’

Netizens are leaving no stone unturned to crack jokes and pull the legs of Pakistani athlete Arshad Nadeem, sharing their thoughts in the comment section.

One user remarks, "The qaum is snoring like the guy in the background." The speech was well-read, though! It must be your king Babar, who's been sleeping for ages.’

Another user says, ‘Only in Pakistan can a gold medallist's call to action be overshadowed by a snore-off!.’

Nadeem became the first track and field athlete from Pakistan to clinch an Olympic gold medal with his stunning 92.97m effort in the men's javelin throw final, while India's Neeraj Chopra, who was defending his title, took the silver with a season's best 89.45m.

Nadeem's gold was Pakistan's first after 40 years since the men's team won it at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics
