Bengaluru: As Bengaluru grapples with heavy rains and severe waterlogging, visuals of residents enjoying a spot of fishing have gone viral on the internet.

Residents of the Silicon Valley, have faced significant challenges, including congestion and wading through waterlogged streets. Fishes were spotted swimming in the flooded basement of Kendriya Vihar, an apartment complex where the late President Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam once resided.

Images of residents and firefighters proudly showing off their "catch of the day" while pumping out the flooded area have taken the internet by storm. One particularly viral image shows a man carrying a large fish.

Earlier, visuals of Manyata Tech Park, one of India’s largest office hubs, submerged under water following incessant rains since Monday night, also captured widespread attention. Social media users sarcastically called the tech park a “swimming pool".
